What does the video production process involve?
Every project is different, but generally the production process can be broken down
into three phases:
Pre-Production: Think collaboration, planning & preparation.
Production: This is the fun part filming, we gather all the required footage.
Post-Production: Now we get to work on the edit, crafting the footage into a
coherent narrative and adding graphics, titles and music as appropriate.
How large is your crew for filming?
This really depends on the demands of the project. It can range from a single videographer who will work alone to capture the required footage to a crew of three or four on more complex shoots.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We film everything on professional quality 4K video cameras and use additional kit where needed such as radio mics, lighting kit and stabilisers. We continually invest in new equipment and software to keep up-to-date with industry standards.
What format will I receive my video files in?
We usually supply our finished videos in the most commonly used formats, typically .mp4 or .mov. However we’re happy to convert these into any other format required.
Do you keep copies of your projects?
We keep backups of footage for a minimum of four years. We often revisit and update older projects for clients – for example if they have changed their branding or want to update facts and figures about the business.
